Sensei Richard Pavšič

 

LSKA's Chief Instructor, Sensei Richard Pavšič, now 6th Dan, has represented Yugoslavia, Slovenia and Great Britain at local, national and international competitions. He was 10 times the Slovenian National Champion, 3 times Yugoslavian National Champion, and with numerous European & World Championship placings, he has a wealth of competitive and coaching experience to pass on.

 

Richard trained under Japanese Senseis Takashi Tokuhisa and Taiji Kase in Slovenia. Originally from Ljubljana in Slovenia, he moved to the UK in 1997. He found a club to continue his training with and has been training here ever since.

 

He finally realised his ambition in 2010 with the establishment of his own association - Lancashire Shotokan Karate Academy.
